What is Maria Bello Jewels made of (Base and stones)?

Our jewelry is made of gold vermeil (sterling silver dipped in 18-karat gold). We chose this material for its popularity and high quality that it gives you the look of real gold at very affordable prices. As for the stones, they are made of cubic zirconia(CZ).

We have some products made of Stainless Steel with a 18k gold cover, and we recomend Avoid water, sweat, perfume and cosmetics to prevent tarnishing. Store in our pouches or a zip plastic bag.

Do the colors fade?

Your vermeil's color will last forever if you take care of it. Always make sure your gold vermeil jewelry is the last thing you put on when getting dressed.

Do the items rust?

No, 925 silver does not rust. What you will get on silver is tarnishing effect - this is where the silver goes black due to copper inside reacting with air humidity. Things such as bleach, chemicals, and hair sprays can speed up the tarnishing effect.
When storing your silver, always put a small piece of chalk (like children's drawing chalk)/charcoal in with your jewelry as it will soak up the humidity and keep your silver shiny!

How do I maintain my purchased jewelry?

 Vermeil jewelry is durable and high in quality. In order to take care of your items, try to avoid wearing your vermeil in the following:
1-Bathing
2-Swimming
3-Applying skin/body care products(includes perfumes)
Store your vermeil separately in a storage bag to ensure a long-lasting shine.
Bonus tips:
When it's your body care routine time, apply your products first, let them dry, and then put your jewelry on. And finally, your gold vermeil jewelry should be the last thing you put on when getting dressed.
